Banana Prawn Season looking promising
The flood waters rushing into the Gulf of Carpentaria are providing the perfect conduit for banana prawns to be flushed out to sea. Marshall Betzel from NQ Trawlers believes the above average rainfall should lead to an above average catch. The season opens early in April and we will report on the levels of catch as they occur.
